One can quickly rotate this filter between the two states to get a clearer view of a desired feature.This is also useful when examining shiny objects like coins, or especially useful in analyzing natural elements (rocks, gems, insects) that sometimes have a defined polarization component to their structure.This auction is for the polarizer set only. I like to call it X-ray vision, but of course it is only a trick with the light polarization. When the polarizer is rotated to block the reflection, the text is easily seen.
